The 26-year-old rapper dishes to the men's fashion mag about his feud with Chris Brown, love advice he’s received from Will Smith, and more.

On his feud with Chris Brown: “I don’t want my name to be synonymous with that guy’s name. I really don’t. I wish we could sit down, just like you and me are right now, and talk it out man-to-man. But that’s not going to happen. I’m not confrontational, but if someone challenges, I’m not going to back down. It’s embarrassing, the amount of media coverage. Two rappers fighting over the woman. He’s not even a rapper, but still, it’s the last way you want your name out there. It distracts from the music. But he’s made me the enemy, and that’s the way it’s gonna stay, I guess. If I think about it too much, I feel it wrapping around my foot, like I get a feeling it could end really badly.”

On advice he received from Will Smith: “I had lunch the other day with someone I extremely look up to. Okay – I had lunch with Will Smith, and listening to him talk, it made me think I don’t know what love is. He said something profound. He said love is when you become one and you need that person. It’s not about wanting anymore, you need that person. Hearing that, I don’t know if I’ve ever felt that way. I’ve held women in very high regard almost to the point where I felt like I needed them for a very long time, but I don’t know if I comprehend it yet, and I’m okay with that. I’ve made a lot of music about love being the only thing I’m missing. I think this is the first album I’ve made saying, I’m okay. I’m enjoying it right now. Maybe this is my time to grind it out, make a run for it and add some memories with my boys.”

On his future ambitions: “I feel this great responsibility to see how far can we take it, how out of reach can I set that bar for whoever comes after. While I’m here, I’m gonna keep pushing that bar higher and higher up and make you really work for it.”

Man of Steel actress Amy Adams covers Allure Magazine's July Issue. Adams dishes to the beauty mag about her face, body, wedding plans,and playing the iconic character Losi Lane in the #1 Movie in America right now Man of Steel.

On her face: “I have no features without make-up. I am pale. I have blonde lashes. You could just paint my face—it’s like a blank canvas. It can be great for what I do.” 

On plans to marry Darren Le Gallo, her fiancé and father of her daughter, Aviana: "We both have a very specific idea that we want to do this [the ceremony] in spring or fall, like in those months, but every time I'm busy working. I want something very family oriented and laid-back."

On playing Lois Lane in Man of Steel: “I’ve wanted to be in a superhero movie, and this was my best chance—as some mere mortal. Let’s be real here. I don’t look that good in Lycra. I do all right, but I hadn’t anticipated that I was ever going to be cast as the girl in Lycra looking hot.” 

  

On her body: “Perfect isn’t normal, nor is it interesting. Some of these actresses or public personas who are very public about their disciplined diets, more power to them. Do you know, the people I love as actresses, I've never, ever sought out pictures of them to see what they look like in a swimsuit. I just don’t see the point. I’m just not going to be one of those people photographed in a bikini where people are like, ‘OMG, look at Amy!’ I mean, it might be OMG, but not for the reasons I want.”

Ending Her Marriage To Russell Brand: “At first when I met him he wanted an equal, and I think a lot of times strong men do want an equal, but then they get that equal and they’re like, I can’t handle the equalness. He didn’t like the atmosphere of me being the boss on tour. So that was really hurtful, and it was very controlling, which was upsetting. I felt a lot of responsibility for it ending, but then I found out the real truth, which I can’t necessarily disclose because I keep it locked in my safe for a rainy day. I let go and I was like: This isn’t because of me; this is beyond me. So I have moved on from that.”
